Product Description

The Heat Equalizer Stove Diffuser plate allows you to cook with less energy and heat. The Biggest savings comes from directing 100% of the heat to the pot and not warming up the surrounding house as much when cooking.

USAGE

The Heat Equalizer needs to be placed between the heat source and the pot or saucepan so it can distribute the heat evenly. When using the Heat Diffuser for glass stoves, you will no longer need to worry about foods burning or sticking to one place.

• No more hot spots in the middle of the pot where you have burned food.

No more constant stirring because the electric stove Heat Diffuser will heat evenly across the whole surface.

FUNCTION

The Heat Diffuser’s main use is to equalize the temperature across the whole surface. It distributes the heat evenly, this way you can turn any pot into high end cookware.

Intended uses are for slow cooking and/or simmering any foods, especially sensitive items like rice, oats, caramel, soups & tenderized meats. The stove top Heat Diffuser will even improve the performance of your Dutch Oven and can also be used for thawing or defrosting.

Aluminum is a lightweight metal, and it conducts six times better than Stainless Steel (thermal conductivity is 210W/m-K). In addition, Aluminum is inexpensive making it the most popular choice for cooking.

Normal intake is roughly 10 milligrams of Aluminum daily, mostly from food. Aluminum pots & pans provide only 1-2 milligrams of this total. While Aluminum has been associated with Alzheimer’s disease, there is no definite link proven. The World Health Organization estimates that adults can consume more than 50 milligrams of Aluminum daily without harm. This is why it is important to use Stainless Steel pots & pans with the advantage of having an Aluminum bottom to equalize the heat.

During cooking, Aluminum dissolves easily from worn or pitted pots & pans. The longer food is cooked or stored in Aluminum, the greater the amount that gets into the food. Leafy vegetables and acidic foods, such as tomatoes and citrus products, absorb the most Aluminum.

This is why you should only use Stainless Steel pots & pans for cooking and use the Heat Equalizer to keep you and your family safe from Aluminum.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

An electric stove heat diffuser or gas burner diffuser can be used with a flat metal plate. It contributes to the even distribution of heat by lessening the intensity of direct heat and spreading it more uniformly over a greater surface area. It gives you greater control over the cooking temperature.

Yes, you can clean the Heat Equalizer very easily. It is dishwasher safe and the surface is non-stick. You can wipe it clean easily with a damp cloth or sponge. You can remove the heat diffuser for gas stove and wash it in the sink or put it in the dishwasher with your other dishes. Please note you should not use abrasive cleaners or scrubbers on the Heat Equalizer, as this could damage the non-stick surface and affect its performance.

Yes, you can use the heat diffuser for glass top stoves. It's important to choose one that is compatible with the surface stove and won't scratch or damage it. You should look for diffusers specifically designed for glass top stoves or use the ones made of non-abrasive materials like aluminum or copper.

For a gas stove, the best heat diffuser depends on needs and personal preferences. However, some factors to consider include the size of the diffuser, the material it's made from, and its durability. The Heat Equalizer Heat Diffuser Plate is a popular option for its versatile use on gas or electric stoves and its durable aluminum-copper alloy construction.

Yes, a heat diffuser can be used with an electric stove to improve temperature control and prevent scorching or burning. Look for diffusers specifically designed for electric stoves or use ones made of non-abrasive materials like aluminum or copper.

Copper heat diffusers are popular for their excellent heat conductivity and durability. They evenly distribute heat across the cooking surface, providing more control and reducing the risk of burning or scorching.

We do not recommend using it for a ceramic cooktop, as the diffuser can scratch or damage the surface. Instead, use cookware specifically designed for ceramic cooktops that distribute heat evenly and prevent scratching.

The benefits of stove top heat diffuser are that it provides more control over the cooking temperature, prevents burning or scorching, and evenly distributes heat across the cooking surface. It can also extend the life of cookware by reducing direct exposure to high heat.

To clean the product, you should let it cool completely before washing it with warm, soapy water and a soft sponge or cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or scrubbers that can scratch or damage the surface. Dry the diffuser completely before storing it.

No, we do not recommend using the heat diffuser for induction cooktops. They require direct contact between the cookware and the magnetic field to generate heat. Using it can disrupt this process and prevent the cookware from heating properly.
